Corps Members have been advised to contribute to the socio-economic development of their host communities by embarking on projects that would improve their standard of living.

Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim stated this in his address to the 2019 Batch ‘B’ Stream Two Corps Members in Bayelsa State Orientation Camp, Kaiama, today.

Addressing a total of 1,174 Corps Members comprising of 501 female and 673 males, the Director-General appealed to them to be morally upright and respect the tradition of their host communities.

‘Avoid crime and hard drugs. Live as responsible models and good ambassadors of your family, schools and the NYSC’, the DG added.

When addressing Corps Members in Rivers State Orientation Camp in Kaiama, the DG admonished them to avoid primodial and ethnic acrimonnies.

‘You must be very careful and respect your dignity as women and avoid wayward lifestyle’, the DG specifically advised the female Corps Members.
