Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State today relaxed the curfew imposed on the state because of the ravaging Corona pandemic.
Umahi made the disclosure today during his weekly media chat, arguing that the lift on curfew is still enforced at the border areas to curb the spread of the virus.
He added “Umahi unbans the use of Okada, relaxes curfew.
“”We have lifted the ban on the use of motorcycle in the state, but still effective in the border areas.
“From 300 meters radius before the border areas, no motorcycle and other means of human transportation,
“This is to enable our people return to normal living without restriction”.
He assured that efforts have been intensified towards the distribution of the palliative to cushion its economic effect on the people.
“Very soon we will start the distribution of the palliative.
“We have shared over 90,000 facemasks and sanitisers”
