Trump vows to target 52 Iranian sites if Iran attacks US, in response to his arrest warrant by Iran
Ali Alqasimehr, Tehran prosecutor was quoted by the Iranian Student News Agency as saying that the President of the United States and more than 30 others were facing “charges of murder and terrorism” for an air strike at Baghdad International Airport on January 3.
It is noteworthy that Soleimani was killed by the US military in an air strike outside Baghdad International airport. Nevertheless, his death led to several protests around the world.
His recruits have long been suspected of being behind actions of destabilizing the Middle East and have worked as a mixture of special forces and spies.
Angered by Soleimani’s death and in retaliation for US actions, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards pledged to attack Israel and other US allies.
In his response, Trump warned Tehran that if Iran attacked the Americans, the United States would target 52 Iranian sites.
He said: “Let this serve as a warning that if Iran strikes any American or American assets, 52 Iranian sites have been targeted by the US already (representing 52 American hostages who have been seized many years ago by Iran)”.
Notwithstanding, Iran issued an arrest warrant and asked Interpol to aid arrest Trump and dozens of others that executed a drone strike that terminated the life of one of its general.
