There is a chance, though slim, that Emeka Ihedioha may return as governor of Imo State, this is as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the Imo governorship election is back at the Supreme Court.

His lawyer, Philip Umeadi is asking the Court to execute its judgement against Uche Nwosu on double nomination. Umeadi is acting for Ihedioha.
Umeadi says Hope Uzodimma should not be governor!

There are two of such cases actually. One is that of RAP and the one I posted now is coming from Philip Umeadi and it’s straight to the Supreme Court, asking the Apex Court to enforce its judgement against Uche Nwosu
ElombahNews learnt Uche Nwosu is not involved, though he is the Plaintiff, and has been served the court papers.
Uzodimma To be Sacked as Imo governor?

The hearing portends more trouble for Uzodimma as a Former INEC Commissioner seeks his sack.
In the court papers sighted by ElombahNews correspondent, the Supreme Court was told that Uzodimma was not a candidate of any political Party.
Stating that Uzodimma is Usurping Imo Governorship seat, the Lawyer Tells the Supreme Court to enforce their judgement on Uche Nwosu candidacy.

Ihedioha battles Uzodimma
Commenting on the latest development, APC spokesman in the state, Onwuasoanya FCC Jones told ElombahNews he is worried over the fate of his Party in Imo State.
Onwuasoanya said the Party’s mistakes continue to haunt her over the gubernatorial nomination processes in Imo.

“No doubt, the APC made a mess of democracy during the 2018 nomination processes, and the impunity with which the Party carried out its nomination processes in Imo is glaring before the world and so brazen that it will continue to haunt our democratic history for a long time to come, he said.

He added that “the truth remains that the actual winner of the APC governorship primaries in Imo State is Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and until this injustice meted to him is corrected, the Party in Imo shall know no peace.”
“It is actually one day one trouble for the Gulak manufactured APC candidate and Supreme Court declared governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.”

“Hon. Philip Umeadi, a former INEC National Commissioner couldn’t be joking with this application before the Supreme Court and I can only pray as a loyal Party member that somehow, technicality saves us in this particular case”, Onwuasoanya concluded.
