The minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development in Nigeria Mrs Sadiya Umar Farouk has claimed that the Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari is capable of lifting at least 150 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2023.

It was recall that the minister also stated on October 28, 2019 that 90 million Nigerians live in poverty this was made public during the presentation of the 2020 annual budget with the estimation of N44.21billion .

Meanwhile, the minister also stated that “the Nigerians citizens needs to be patience with the Buhari government, as they are working effectively to ensure that 150million Nigerians is lift out of Poverty” she said.

While speaking further she also stated that Nigeria is under an economical and social development process which will enable the government to tackle poverty and other social and economic developmental issues/challenges In Nigerian.
