A widow whose husband was killed by gunmen has revealed how her children was hidden under the bed when the killers started shooting at their house.
An ugly incident occurred in Oba Akoko area of Ondo State some days ago, as gunmen attacked the community, killed a Fulani man identified as and whisked away two others residents.
It took the help of the Amotekun security, local hunters and the military to rescue the abducted people, but the gunmen escaped.
The community members and father of the young Fulani man killed was able to identify the gunmen as ‘Bororo’ people who are able to English, Hausa, Fulani and Pidgin language.
The wife of the deceased revealed how she quickly hide her four children under the bed as the gunmen stormed the community and started shooting sporadically at their building.
The woman who is now a widow revealed that her husband is a gentle and easy going person, who always play with everybody in the community, even helped those who are younger than him without considering the age difference.
She however noted that she will miss her husband because he always ensured that they are happy.
