President Muhammadu Buhari, who is aware that Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Oodua Nation agitators are the major secession groups in Nigeria, has expressed his joy over the improvement of the country in getting rid of the divisive elements in Nigeria.
Apparently, IPOB and Oodua Nation agitators have always had the sole objective of dividing the country to suit their own interest. The two secession groups are under the leadership of Maazi Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho respectively, and they have always been repulsive to the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Having this in mind, President Buhari, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Mr Boss Mustapha during the Progressives Youth Conference held at Abuja, referred to them as “divisive elements”.
His words: “I am happy to see that we are beginning to see the results and we keep improving until the country is rid of such divisive elements”
However, it is on record that the Nigerian Army and other Security agencies have been able to withstand the forces of IPOB and Oodua Nation agitators.
