According to a development report reaching our desk, the indigenes of a local community in Rivers State have cried out to the River state government under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike over the wanton killings of the indigenes of the states by the dreadful fulani cattle herders.

The residents of the community have come out to express their grievances concerning how these herders are killing their people and causing mayhem in the state. However, following through the report it was gathered that these herders had launched a recent attack against the indigenes of the state which ended up killing one of the residents of the community while an unascertained number of people are still missing.

Thus, the members of the community have urged the River state government to quickly do away with these marauders and ensure that they vacate the state with immediate effect, as they openly declared that they don’t want these herders anymore and will no longer tolerate their activities in the state.
