President Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have been described as tired old men looking for ways to destroy Nigeria.

Deji Adeyanju, a Nigerian rights activist, made the remark while reacting to the report of Buhari and Tinubu’s meeting in London.

Adeyanju said both Tinubu and Buhari met to allegedly secure medical insurance for the rest of their lives.

Sharing photos of Buhari and Tinubu on Twitter, Adeyanju wrote: “Tired old men looking for how to further destroy Nigeria and secure medical insurance for the rest of their lives.”

Buhari had visited Tinubu in the UK on Thursday evening.

The President’s aide, Bashir Ahmad, had disclosed this via his Facebook page.

Tinubu’s health has been a subject of controversy lately, with insinuations that he was dead.

Amid the rumours, the APC National Leader had met with the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and a House of Representatives member, James Falake.

Buhari, on his part, attended an education summit in London before embarking on a medical checkup.
