The said caller had informed the police that the deceased, a transport union leader, who was at Blue Roof Hotel in Adiyan Gasline to celebrate with the hotelier, was stabbed by an unknown person.

While disclosing that the deceased was confirmed dead by a doctor at the hospital he was rushed to, Oyeyemi informed the State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, had directed that the suspect must be hunted for and apprehended within 24 hours.
Upon Bankole’s directive, the DPO and his men swung into action, and at about 5 pm of Saturday, the suspect was nabbed.
